Local Priorities 'Speeding Traffic Update' - Community Speed Watch Event held on the A626 Marple Rd, Charlesworth - Wednesday 5th August |

Glossop SNT - Community Speed Watch Event
PCSO Buller and two of the volunteers from the Hadfield Community Speed Watch Team completed an event on the A626 Marple Rd, Charlesworth today, Wednesday 5th August.
The event was held there between 1 55 pm and 2.55 pm - with the speed limit being 30 mph on this stretch of road. On this occasion a total 445 vehicles went by the team during the time the event took place and on this occasion only 3 vehicles were identified as speeding above 35 Mph.
Speeding has been identified by the local communitiy in Charlesworth as one of their Policing Priorites for this area. The community have spoken out by using our Community Voice Surveys online and when engaging with members of the safer neighbourhood team when out and about or at local engagement events etc.
